Michael's Free Write

Michael is really starting to be really funny. He has always been funny but now he is getting more creative with it (i.e. Damien in a chicken suit on his Father's Day card). He is understanding sarcasm and is doing a great job of using it. The first graders in his class had a free write assignment after reading a book (If you give a Mouse a Pancake) and this is what Michael came up with. Damien and I think it is hilarious mostly because of the thought of Michael thinking these ideas!

"If you give a Dog an apple, he's probably going to ask you for a hammer. Once you give him the hammer, he's going to ask you to hit it. Once you hit it, he's going to sell it. His sign will say, "Free Apple Sauce". Then, he'll ask you for some wood. Then he'll build a wooden apple. Once it's finished, he'll send it to his family. Chances are, if you give him the apple, he'll ask you for a hammer."
