You know what they always say . . . "When your Nonna gives you lemons, make lemonade!" Emily and Nonna shared some special moments today as they made lemonade together. Emily absolutely loves a good project and loves it even more if she thinks that only big kids get to attempt it! She sat at my Mom's counter for probably twenty minutes or so squeezing lemons and using my Mom's plastic juicer. One by one, she patiently twisted the lemon making as much juice as she could. Once she was done, Nonna and Emily added sugar and water to make the most wonderfully delicious lemonade! They made a sign for their lemonade and then served it to everyone at dinner. It was a huge hit and certainly a wonderful moment for both Emily and her Nonna.
