Truly Significant Moments

After doing the dishes tonight, I stumbled into the front room to see these two playing a board game.  Damien is such a wonderful Dad.  Honestly.  Sometimes I can tell he is ridiculously tired and stressed after a long day of work.  However- if one of the kids asks him to play a game, kick or throw the ball around, or just listen to a story- Damien will do it.  I admire him so much for this.  He loves the kids so much and recognizes these seemingly trivial moments as truly significant.  And you know what?  He is right.  He will always look back and know he gave 'being a Dad' his all.
